Orthoptics Awareness Week (OAW) is an annual event in the Orthoptics Australia calendar. This week is when Orthoptists across Australia can promote the profession and celebrate the work they do.

Orthoptists can take this opportunity to showcase the significant role the profession makes to eye health, raise the profile of the profession and campaign on behalf of the profession and the patients/clients to governments and policy makers.

OAW is a chance for Orthoptists to unite in promoting the profession and highlight their role toward patients and the extensive ophthalmic community.
