Events of Significance to Health and Society
The purpose of the Calendar of Health, provided and updated by Optimal Vitality is to spread awareness of specific days or events that are significant to society, health, well-being and vitality. These events consist of:
International or World Days, Weeks and Months (examples include, World Health Day, International Day of Yoga, World Breastfeeding Week, Endometriosis Awareness Month, Irritable Bowel Syndrome Awareness Week).
Events local to Australia that may not be observed internationally, as well as public holidays (examples include, Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea for the Cancer Council, ANZAC Day, National Reconciliation Week).
Events and general health reminders provided by Optimal Vitality (examples include, reminders to eat seasonably, safe sun exposure seasonally, preparing for the influenza and allergy seasons).
The below Calendar of Health & Vitality is prepared and maintained by Optimal Vitality. Hundreds of events are recognised and held each year and often these dates change (either the day of the week can change year to year or the date and month entirely). The events published below are set-up as recurring events in the Calendar of Health & Vitality and while every effort is taken to ensure date changes are actioned, Optimal Vitality recognises that some errors may exist from time to time. Optimal Vitality typically reviews the Calendar of Health & Vitality every six months (January and July each year), however we take no responsibility for publishing inadvertent errors. If you observe any errors, we invite you to contact us via email at hello@optimalvitality.com.au.
