Ingredients
250g of frozen mixed berries
250g of yoghurt (Greek, vanilla bean or vegan yoghurt)
1 tablespoon of syrup (maple, agave or honey)
1 tablespoons of vanilla extract.
Step by Step Guide
Add yoghurt, syrup and vanilla extract to the blender
Add the frozen berries to the blender
Place the lid on the blender and blitz the ingredients for a few seconds until the yoghurt is consistently blended with the frozen fruit
Using a spatular, place the blended ingredients into a freezer-proof container with a lid
Place the container in the freezer overnight to allow the ingredients to set and harden
Serve the following day using an ice cream scoop.
Suggestions
Use a vegan yoghurt and replace honey with maple or agave syrup, for a vegan-friendly recipe
Serve with fresh berries and freshly chopped mint to create a refreshing dessert.
